We, at Tansu-ya the kimono recycle shop, strive to help more people enjoy the kimono lifestyle. We find ways to help you give your extensive collection of kimono and obi a new lease of life, and remake the society into one that is gentle to the environment through recycling and reuse. People are taking the first step into the world of kimono through Tansu-ya, discovering the fulfilling kimono lifestyle. We hope to be able to share with you the pride and joy of this Japanese culture.
